Nitrotyrosine
Nitrotyrosine has been identified as an indicator of cell damage and inflammation, as well as of the production of NO. It is believed that measuring the concentration of nitrotyrosine will serve as a marker for damage caused by NO in the cell. Previous studies have shown that nitrotyrosine has been found in inflammatory conditions such as atherosclerotic plaques and theumatoid arthritis, among others. HyCult Biotechnology has recently developed an ELISA kit to detect the presence of nitrotyrosine. In addition, they have also produced an antibody that can be used for immunohistochemistry and Western blot analysis of frozen sections. Both of these products are available here at Cell Sciences. At Cell Sciences, we also offer many other immunochemical supplies available for research in the biological sciences. You will find peptides and proteins, as well as antibodies and several other ELISA kits. We are also a distributor for several manufacturers in addition to HyCult Biotechnology; you can acquire GroPep, CLB, and Diaclone Research cell science supplies from us as well. Our goal is to be your single stop for research supplies. If you do not find what you need in our inventory, contact us--we'll work with you to get you the products you need. In addition, new items are placed in our online catalog on a weekly basis. We accept both credit cards and procurement cards, and we ship our products using overnight shipping so that logistics do not hinder your research.
