Description:

Recombinant Human CCL4/ MIP-1 beta is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 69 amino acids.

Background: CCL4 (also known as Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-1 beta; MIP-1-beta) is a secreted mitogen-inducible monokine. It signals through the chemokine receptor CCR5 to attract immune cells and induces inflammatory responses, including neutrophil superoxide production. CCL4 is one of the major HIV-suppressive factors produced by CD8+ T-cells.
