Source:

E. coli

Molecular Weight:

~16 kDa

Physical State:

Lyophilized

Formulation:

Lyophilized from a sterile filtered (through a 0.2 ?m filter) concentrated (1 mg/ml) solution in PBS, pH 7.4.

Purity:

>95% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses.

Biological Activity:

Fully biologically active when compared to standard.

Specific Activity:

50,000 U/mg (Measured by the ability of fibrin lysis in agarose plate)

Endotoxin Level:

<1/g

Reconstitution:

Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile ddH2O or aqueous buffer containing 0.1% BSA to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. The solution can then be further diluted in other aqueous buffers.

Storage/Stability:

Lyophilized protein is stable at 2-4℃C, but is preferably stored desiccated at -20℃C. After reconstitution, stable for 1 week at 2-4℃C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20℃C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
