Description:

The beta-3 adrenergic receptor, also known as ADRB3, is a cell membrane-spanning beta-adrenergic receptor that interacts with epinephrine and norepinephrine, which induce activation of adenylate cyclase through the action of the G proteins of the type GS. This receptor is located mainly in adipose tissue and is involved in the regulation of lipolysis and thermogenesis. The receptor is available in the following formats: stable over-expression cell line, membrane preparation, or purified receptor in HEK293 or CHO. Various tagged versions are available.
