Cell Sciences' Tumor Tissue Lysate collection consists of a diverse range of cancer pathologies from over 20 human organs, defined by tumor grade and stage.  A pathology report will accompany each tumor lysate and will include gross findings, histology, cellular differentiation, and nuclear atypia.

The tissue lysate has not been subjected to heat denaturation or reducing conditions. This allows the tissue lysate to be used in a variety of applications; to study protein protein interaction, ligand binding, ELISA, immunoprecipitation, 1D and 2D gel electrophoresis, and western blotting for the detection of specific protein targets.

The majority of our Human Tumor tissue lysates are available as matched sets, consisting of the Tumor lysate and adjacent Normal Tissue lysate for easy comparison studies and accurate biomarker identification.

Application notes:

For use in 1D and 2D gel electrophoresis, western blot, the addition of a denaturing gel loading buffer with reducing agents may be required.

Buffer requirements for performing protein-protein interaction and ligand binding studies can vary significantly from RIPA buffer and may require modifications. In most cases, tissue lysate in RIPA buffer can be used, directly in standard ELISA and immunoprecipitation assays.
