Transforming growth factor beta-2 protein is a precursor of the Latency-associated peptide (LAP) and Transforming growth factor beta-2 (TGF-beta-2) chains, which constitute the regulatory and active subunit of TGF-beta-2, respectively. Human TGF-beta 2 (TGF-β2) antibody is a mouse monoclonal antibody (IgG1) which recognizes an epitope within amino acids 50-75 of mature human TGF-β2. It does not inhibit the binding of TGF-β2 to the type 2 TGF-β receptor in mink lung epithelial cells (Mv1Lu) and is not a neutralizing antibody.
Western Blot: start at a working dilution of 1:1,000.
IHC: use a working dilution of 1:10-1:50. The optimal concentration should be determined by the user for each specific application.
