Rabbit Anti-rat IGF-I polyclonal antibody

Data PDF:

PAT2

Specificity:

Rat and mouse IGF-1, both 100% reactivity

Host Species:

Rabbit

Immunogen:

Rat IGF-I

Formulation:

Lyophilized antiserum

Reconstitution:

Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Dissolve in 200 µl sterile water. Dilute in a suitable buffer solution appropriate for the desired application. For RIA: Dissolve the vial contents in 250 µl RIA buffer (30 mM sodium phosphate pH 7.5 containing 10 mM EDTA, 0.2 g/l protamine sulphate, 0.5 ml Tween 20, 0.25 g/l sodium azide) to give an antiserum stock of 1/50. Sodium azide is a poisonous and hazardous substance which should be handled by trained staff only.

Application:

IB, IHC, RIA

Application notes:

IHC: suggested dilution 1:50 - 1:200
Immunoblotting: suggested dilution 1:1,000
Radioimmunoassay: 1:60,000, the antiserum binds 25% of fresh [ 125I] rat IGF-I tracer (80 Ci/g). Half-maximal inhibition (ED50) of radioligand binding is produced by <0.2 ng of rat IGF-I.
The optimal concentration should be determined by the user for each specific application.

Storage/Stability:

Lyophilized product is stable for up to 1 year when stored at 2-8°C. After reconstituting as directed, store at -20°C to -80°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
