Description:

Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3 beta (MIP-3β), also called CCL19, is a chemokine that is expressed in the thymus, lymph nodes and activated bone marrow stromal cells. MIP-3β signals through the G protein-coupled receptor, CCR7, to regulate normal lymphocyte recirculation and homing of T and B cells to the lymph nodes. Human MIP -3β shows activity on mouse cells.

Reconstitution:

Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Add sterile water to the vial to fully solubilize the protein to a concentration of 100 µg/ml. After complete solubilization of the protein, it can be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Storage/Stability:

Store as supplied at -20°C to -80°C. Reconstituted protein is stable for 1 week at 2-8°C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C to -80°C with a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) as a stabilizer. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
