Recombinant Human CTLA4/CD152

Species:

Human

Cat. No.:

CRC602A pdf (datasheet)

Quantity/Size:

100 μg

Description:

The molecular weight of recombinant human CTLA-4/Fc is ~80 kDa (homodimer). Each subunit (approximately 40 kDa) is composed of the extracellular domain of CTLA-4 fused via a polypeptide linker to the Fc portion of human IgG1.

Data PDF:

CRC602

Formulation:

Lyophilized, carrier free. Filtered prior to lyophilization through a 0.22 micron sterile filter.

Purity:

>95% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis.

Biological Activity:

ED50 range = 0.1-1.0 µg/mL, determined by measuring the dose-dependent inhibition of Raji-stimulated human IL-2 secretion with Jurkat cells. Optimal concentration for individual application should be determined by a dose response assay.

Endotoxin Level:

<0.1 ng/µg

Reconstitution:

Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute lyophilized recombinant human CTLAFc in sterile, distilled water or appropriate buffered solution containing 0.1% BSA to regain full activity. These stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at ≤-20°C. Further dilutions should be made in buffered solution containing a carrier protein such as PBS + 0.1% BSA.

Storage/Stability:

Store this lyophilized preparation at 2-8°C, preferably desiccated. Upon reconstitution, apportion into working aliquots and store at ≤-20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
