Synonyms:
INT1, Proto-oncogene Int-1 homolog
Description:
Background: Wnt-1 is a secreted protein that signals through the Frizzled family of cell surface receptors and is required for normal embryonic development. Wnt-1 activation induces a complex signaling cascade that ultimately leads to the increased expres
Uniprot Name:
Proto-oncogene Wnt-1
Molecular Weight:
38.4 kDa
Physical State:
Lyophilized
Formulation:
Lyophilized from a sterile filtered solution without additives.
Purity:
>98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses.
Biological Activity:
The expected ED50 for this effect is 1.5 - 2.5 ng/ml in the presence of 200 ng/ml of human BMP-2. (ED50 was determined by its ability to enhance BMP-2 induced alkaline phosphatase production by murine ATDC5 cells).
Endotoxin Level:
<0.1 ng/g
Reconstitution:
Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile ddH2O to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. The solution can then be further diluted in other aqueous buffers.
Storage/Stability:
Lyophilized protein is preferably stored desiccated at <0℃C. After reconstitution, stable for 1 week at 2-4℃C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20℃C.
