Description:

Granulocyte-Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor (GM-CSF) is a cytokine that controls the production, differentiation, and function of granulocytes and macrophages. GM-CSF can also stimulate some functional activities in mature granulocytes and macrophages. It is produced by endothelial cells, monocytes, fibroblasts and T cells in response to a number of inflammatory mediators. Recombinant mouse GM-CSF is a single chain polypeptide consisting of 125 amino acid residues.

Reconstitution:

Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Add sterile distilled water to a concentration of 0.1 mg/ml. DO NOT VORTEX. Allow several minutes for complete reconstitution. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions.
