Uniprot Name:
Interleukin-4
Molecular Weight:
12.5 kDa
Physical State:
Lyophilized
Formulation:
Lyophilized from a sterile filtered (through a 0.2 m filter) solution without additives.
Purity:
>95% by SDS-PAGE analysis.
Biological Activity:
ED50: 1 to 4 ng/ml (determined by measuring the dosedependent proliferation of human TF-1 cells. A concentration range of 0.1 to 10.0 ng/ml is effective for most in vitro applications. The optimal concentration should be determined for each specific appli
Endotoxin Level:
<0.1 ng/g
Reconstitution:
Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile ddH2O to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. The solution can then be further diluted in PBS, medium or buffered solution containing carrier protein (0.1 - 1.0% BSA).
Storage/Stability:
Lyophilized protein is preferably stored desiccated at 2-4℃C for 1 year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, aliquot and store at ?-20℃C for >3 months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
